2017 ISUZU NRR

The 2017 Isuzu NRR is an LCF, which stands for Low Cab Forward. LCF trucks such as the 2017 Isuzu NRR are all about versatility and capability, but how they are upfitted to suit a particular application is entirely up to the buyer. With no bed or box on the back off the line, the buyer then has the freedom to choose an upfitted option that best suits their specific requirements. An LCF offers a number of advantages that other cab and chassis commercial trucks don’t offer. The Isuzu N Line has the driver sitting right at the extreme front of the vehicle because the engine isn’t directly in front of them. Although this is a bigger and more capable vehicle than other N Series models, the 2017 NRR still utilizes the same Isuzu 4HK1-TC turbocharged intercooled diesel just like the other vehicles in the range. That means it’s a 5.2-liter unit capable of developing 215 horsepower and 452 lb.-ft. of torque, which then goes to the wheels through an Aisin A465 six-speed automatic transmission with a double overdrive and lock-up 2nd-6th gears.

NRR TECHNOLOGY

The Isuzu NRR also features state-of-the-art SCR technology, which utilizes an enhanced exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system and a variable-geometry turbocharger in order to meet our increasingly demanding emissions standards. This advanced exhaust system also monitors the particulate status of the diesel particulate filter (DPF), and the level of diesel exhaust fluid (DEF) required for the SCR system to operate. The system also reports all the results back to the driver through the Multi-Information Display that’s now standard with all N Series trucks.
